Sometimes I wish I could understand why your parents divorcing is a bad thing.
Like, my parents divorced when I was 6, and my reaction was just like, oh okay. I wasn’t sad about it or anything, but I remember the daycare lady telling others to be nice to me because I was going through a rough phase and I just didn’t understood what she was talking about.
And a lot of cartoons show have these episode where a character thinks that their parents are going to divorce (often just mishearing something) and then they just do all things possible to bring them back together and make sure they don’t divorce.
And I just, can’t compute how it’s a bad thing. I hear people around me and here on the net that went through seeing their parents divorce and it’s not an easy thing for them, and I wish I could just understand.
But it just doesn’t compute why it’s a bad thing no matter how I try to.
