or that america cared more about having bear mascots or really mascots for anything but sports because i would be the opposite of thrilled if people came into my work in duck costumes

i understand how you feel, and this is a big issue i’ve written on plenty of times before on my own when in regards to mascot jobs. it speaks wonders of america’s regard for not just mascot jobs, but general service and entertainment jobs. i’ll elaborate under the cut.
