
卵かけご飯 (Egg Sauce Over Rice)
Tamago Kake Gohan is a popular breakfast food made of boiled rice topped or mixed with raw egg and sometimes soy sauce. Most of the time, only the yolk is used. There is no correct way in making this dish. Any form is acceptable so long as the two main ingredients are present.

Tamago Kake Gohan Though this is considered Japanese comfort food I call it “ Lazy food.” I am not much of a cook and it’s almost impossible to ruin this dish.
1. Make one cup of fresh sticky rice. (Not your American long grain.)
2. While rice is still steaming, scoop hot rice in a bowl.
3. Add one raw egg and stir until rice is coated. (The egg will “cook” so its no longer raw)
4. Add you preferred amount of soy sauce and stir.i make this when we don’t have any food. super good with a little sriracha!
