Some interesting tips for home sewing taken from the industrial sewing world. It makes you think about how you construct a garment and what steps you can string together.
these tips are weird (for starters, you should be pressing your sewing anyway, regardless of who you are and what you’re doing. that’s not magical, that’s like sewing 101) but there’s some time saving tricks in there
(also unless you cut like a precision machine and are working on straight seams cut dead on the grain ffs don’t try and sew without pinning. i mean ideally you should be basting those seams but we both know we cheat at that bit, you try to freehand that stuff and your bias shaping will spit in your face and laugh)
