Let me be a bio nerd and a total fandom freak at once for a second, will you?

Did you know it’s actually possible for France and Canada to have a kid with green eyes?

The funny thing about people with dark blue eyes (as I am assuming France and Canada to be, although I’m adding the freaky purple gene into this too) is that some of the time, they aren’t just bbgg, since that genotype normally produces people with light blue/grey eyes. They can be bbGg, which means, theoretically, if Canada is bbgGPp (assuming the P gene for “violet” color eyes is partial dominance like green) they can produce a child that is bbGGpp, which means they have green/aqua colored eyes.

GENETICS IS FUN
